What Yalla Maps is

Yalla Maps is a map of Uzbekistan with place and address search, a business directory and route planning. The app includes a navigator with alerts about cameras and road events. The website and the main features are free and available without an account.

Map data and the OpenStreetMap licence

The map, addresses and most business details are based on OpenStreetMap data: © OpenStreetMap contributors. This data is available under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. More about copyright and the licence — at openstreetmap.org/copyright.

If you use map data from Yalla Maps, credit the source as “© OpenStreetMap contributors” and follow the terms of the ODbL. The service’s own data (cameras, reviews, road reports, details from business owners) is kept separately from OpenStreetMap data and is not published under the ODbL.

Information is for reference only

• Addresses, phone numbers, opening hours and other details may be out of date or incomplete. Check them with the business before you go. Found a mistake — let us know with “Report an error” on the place page.
• Routes and travel times are calculated automatically and may not take closures, roadworks and other changes on the road into account.
• Camera and road event alerts are a hint. They do not replace road signs, markings or the Rules of the Road. The driver is responsible for driving and following the rules. Do not hold your phone while driving.

Your content

• Error reports, road reports, reviews and photos must be truthful and relate to the place or the stretch of road. Insults, advertising, links, other people’s personal data and content that breaks the law or infringes others’ rights are not allowed.
• Content goes through automatic and manual moderation. We may decline to publish, hide or remove content that breaks these rules, and restrict an account or a device for repeated violations.
• By publishing content you allow Yalla Maps to show it in the service free of charge and use it to improve the map — worldwide and for as long as the content is published. You keep the copyright in your reviews and photos.

What is not allowed

• Bulk downloading of the service’s data by automated means, bypassing rate limits and technical protection measures.
• Creating load that disrupts the service, or interfering with its operation.
• Sending knowingly false reports and messages, impersonating another person or a business owner.

Businesses

Business cards are created from open data. An owner can confirm their rights to a card and add to it; confirmed details are marked on the card. Being listed in the directory does not mean the business is recommended or verified.

Liability

The service is provided “as is”. We try to keep it running without interruptions and the data accurate, but we do not guarantee this and, to the extent permitted by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, we are not liable for the consequences of decisions made on the basis of the service’s information.

Changes to the terms

We may update these terms; a new version is published on this page with the date of the update. By continuing to use the service after an update you accept the new version. How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.
